Read desire without judging it

Card Two is not asking whether the desire is noble enough. It asks what is actually moving underneath the question. Ace of Pentacles may reveal a wish for security. Six of Wands may reveal the need to be chosen or recognized. The Devil may show a desire that feels powerful partly because it has been pushed into secrecy.

A desire is information, not an instruction. You can acknowledge it without letting it decide every action.

Attachment and fear belong together

Read Cards Three and Four as a pair. Four of Pentacles with Five of Pentacles may show control built around fear of exclusion or scarcity. Two of Cups with Three of Swords may show attachment to a bond shaped by fear of loss.

The point is not to shame the attachment. Ask what it protects, then whether the same protection can be created in a healthier form.

Power is not the same as control

Card Five shows what remains yours even when another person's decision or an outside event cannot be controlled. Strength may show emotional steadiness. Queen of Swords may show discernment. Eight of Cups may show the ability to leave what repeatedly denies your values.
